No Time for Romantic Escape

Update 2016-08-03:
I couldn't give credits to the artworks in the video since I only saw a few tags from PARASIT and OZ (R.I.P).

Everything is entertainment

(Picture: Ruptly TV)

Back then I didn't agree much with Neil Postman's "Amusing Ourselves To Death" theories, but with each day looking at what is called "Infotainment", I do a bit more.

On local news they quite extensively covered the newest Banksy art project in Weston-super-Mare. With roughly 50 other (known) artists they build some kind of modern entertainment park called "Dismaland". Full of so exciting and shocking art, the exhibition got many likes by the media who bring us the unexcitingly real Disneyland to our daily screen.
Whatever, the exhibition is still open to September, 27th. Go enjoy your shocks with oily rubber ducks and drowning escapees.

Rest in peace OZ

While sorting hundreds of street art photos of a recent trip to Hamburg, Germany, I just heard the bad news that OZ, an old famous guy of the local graffiti scene got hit by a tram and died.
Thx for the smiles you brought me and R.I.P. dude.

Finally: Confusão

Confusão - the breathtaking local Samba percussion group and initiators of the "Bremer Karneval" at their gig to the end of the street show.

More carnival

So many nice moments need a second post.

It's carnival time!

So I left my island and crossed the seven seas for our annual meeting with viti of vitiworks at the Bremen Karneval, which has become a must visit for us in recent years.

Street Art

On my last travels I found a lot of wall paintings and other decorations. Too bad that they are overpainted by annoyed wall owners or just disappear within a few years.

Spray can on grey wall, Unknown artist.
