Unfortunately Picasa and Blogger are still auto-sizing images, so if you click on the thumbnails for the big view and download this picture, you will get it slightly sized down to 1600 x 1000 pixels. On a 1680 x 1050 monitor these files will be stretched and might look smeary, so one option is you resize them to 1680 x 1050 in a graphics program, with a jpg compression around "90".
As this can cause more quality loss, the better option is to download the original file by clicking the download link and on the Picasa site that opens, click on "Herunterladen" in upper left area.
