At night we anchored in the Windy City for a beer somewhere and by coincidence we suddenly found ourselves surrounded by a big crowd of people, streaming like in a procession of red lights, green lanterns, light sabers and such ...
We heard the rhythm of deep drums in a distance and went to the center to see what's going on.
On top of the crowd we saw some bodies radiating in wonderful lights, changing colours, drumming and moving to their beats.
Coming closer I recognised those light people were Confusao, drummers of a famous northern Samba percussion band, which I met ages ago ... and made it a very joyful surprise to see them again, here and now, in those new beautiful light costumes! - I guess they were a pain to wear sometimes.
