Hmm, Boaty McBoatface is a submersible now. The boat is named after that BBC and British icon of the last hundred years or so Sir David Frederick Attenborough OM CH CVO CBE FRS FRSB FLS FZS FSA. Lovely picture of a boat though :)
Yes, around one year ago they ignored the Boaty vote to give it a boring name everyone should know and renamed the Yellow Submarine to Boaty McBoatface. I forgot the link to the story :)
