So summer is coming to its end and I used one of the last hot and sunny days to make a trip to the sea.
A nice tune while editing the photos was R.E.M.'s song "Imitation of Life". Maybe it's also a nice background for watching.
The waters around Elephant Beach are not very deep ...
... so people cannot drown.
The drawback: they also cannot swim in the sea.
So many vacationers stay in their hotel rooms or on balconies.
Many people use beach chairs like these.
Others cannot make a decision.
Noobs on the search for a place to swim.
A teenager, trying to swim, ...
... but failing.
Advanced visitors do waterjogging.
Rubbing with mud is also very popular.
Seagull watching.
Or Tourist watching.
That's one giant step for a man.
Snail trail
The steep coast of Elephant Beach.
Mud. It may not look very inviting but walking thru it feels really good. And, no, it's not exuberantly radioactive.
A killer crab attacking me. It was bigger than you think ...
Waterdancing.
